Smart mobility & intelligent transportation
Mobility management, traffic-flow forecasting and predictive models for connected and autonomous transportation systems.
Research
My research examines how mobile and connected systems can anticipate change, communicate efficiently and remain reliable—from individual vehicles to city-scale infrastructure. This programme is developed through ICAS Lab — Intelligent Connected Autonomous Systems at Kuwait University and international collaboration with the University of Ottawa.
Themes
These themes share a common goal: translating advances in networking and machine learning into safer, more efficient and more sustainable connected environments.
Mobility management, traffic-flow forecasting and predictive models for connected and autonomous transportation systems.
Scalable topology discovery, handover management and controller placement for software-defined and 5G/6G-enabled vehicular networks.
Spatio-temporal representation, time-series classification, perception and fault detection in dynamic networked environments.
Resource-efficient, secure communications and fault-tolerant network services for IoT and urban infrastructure.
Research environment
Research leadership and international collaboration supporting connected and autonomous systems.
Director of Kuwait University’s research laboratory for intelligent mobility, autonomous perception and robotics.
Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa since 2021, collaborating on intelligent 5G/6G vehicular-network protocols and co-supervising graduate researchers.
