Biography
Noura Aljeri is currently an Assistant Professor with the department of Computer Science, at Kuwait University, Kuwait. and a Research Associate at PARADISE research laboratory, University of Ottawa, Canada. She received her PhD in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa, Canada. She is the recipient of the most outstanding PhD thesis Award at the University of Ottawa (2020). She is also the recipient of the Pierre Laberge Award for her research contribution on mobility management for autonomous and connected vehicular networks (2021). Her current research interest includes smart mobility, topology management, and prediction models for connected and autonomous vehicular networks, smart transportation systems, and mobility networks. She has published extensively in those areas, and she received the best paper award in the 16th IEEE AICCSA Conference. She served as a member of the technical program committee for several ACM and IEEE conferences including MSWIM, PE-WASUN, and ICC. She also served on the Editorial Board of ACM ICPS, and currently in ACM Computing Surveys.
